250 psi (17 bar) fuel pressure regulator valve

A valve incorporated into the integrated fuel system module that regulates fuel rail pressure to 250 psi (17 bar).

380 psi (2620 kPa) high-pressure relief valve

A valve between the gear pump and the filter in the integrated fuel system module that prevents severe damage from high fuel pressure in the event of a fuel shutoff valve failure or other blockage in the fuel circuit.

7th injector

A hydrocarbon or fuel injector used to help supplement the heating of the exhaust aftertreatment system.

fillet radius

A circular machining applied to the surface between the journal and the crankshaft cheek that strengthens the crankshaft and minimizes the possibility of a fracture.

flash point

The temperature at which fuel will produce adequate vapor to ignite if exposed to an open source of ignition such as a spark or flame.
